The bank (Wth c. 3.5m, int. H c. 0.3m, ext. H c. 0.9m) and external fosse (Wth c. 2.8m) survive at S. Outline of bank visible at W and N. No other visible surface remains. - Ashfield Hall, gate lodge, 1860–1900, Regional interest, registry number 12803205, https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=LA&regno=12803205. Detached three-bay single-storey Tudor Gothic style gate lodge with dormer attic, c. 1870, with gabled projecting entrance bay, oriel window and box bay window to right. Extended to rear comprising lean-to return. Now derelict.
