A modern drystone-built enclosure (int. dims 18m N-S; 15m E-W) defined by a poorly built wall (Wth up to 1m, H up to 1m). There is a collapsed entrance (Wth 0.6m) at NE. Situated on the summit of a NE-SW mountain ridge with panoramic views in every direction. it is indicated as an OS Trigonometric Point on the 1907 edition of the OS 6-inch map. This is the remains of a flat-topped earth and stone grass-covered mound or cairn (diam. of base 5.5m; diam. of top 3m; H 0.7m ) with a slight depression on the summit of the cairn, which may have been caused by the placement of an OD stone or tile marking the height of 1137 ft. A horseshoe-shaped earthen bank with evidence of stone facing is enclosing a wet marshy interior (int. dims 1.9m by 1.5m) in a manner similar to that of a well. It is located beside c. 10m N of a farm road, which may suggest that this was the site of a well of 19th century date.
