Marked only on the 1910 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, it is situated on a knoll in an area of marshy grassland and scrub towards the bottom of the NE-facing slope of the Tullyskeherny plateau. This is a grass and reed-covered circular area (diam. 47m E-W; 44m N-S) defined by traces of a slight scarp (H 0.1-0.2m), and it is largely overgrown with scrub in the SE part. - Hollymount, outbuilding, 1720–1740, Regional interest, registry number 30912001, https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=LE&regno=30912001. Detached L-plan multiple-bay two-storey outbuilding, built c.1730, with ruin of former country house to east. Built on a U-plan with the north range demolished. Hipped slate roof. Random coursed walls with tooled limestone quoins. Stone surrounds to window openings with some louvers surviving. Raised sandstone dressing to carriage arch opening. Cantilevered stone stairs to first floor. Outbuildings within enclosed rear courtyard accessed through wrought-iron gates. Ruin of detached five-bay former country house has random coursed stone walls with red brick dressing to openings and Ionic pilaster to front elevation. Wrought-iron gates flanked by stone piers to front of site.
