Indicated as a small embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 25m) described in gothic lettering as a ‘Fort’ on the 1835 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. It is not visible at ground level, but it is described locally as a cashel, the stones of which were used in building field walls.
