H 1.1m at E to 3.8m SW-W) which is reduced to a scarp in places. There is no visible fosse and the original entrance is not identified. The monument is bisected by a N-S field bank, now levelled, and a disused farm track circumscribes it at SW. The ceremonial enclosure (LE008-004001-) is c. 90m to the S and a ring-barrow (LE008-003----) is c. 35m to the E. This is a grass-covered circular and dished mound (diam. 9.1m N-S; 8.9m E-W; H 0.1-0.3m) defined by a fosse or berm (Wth 0.6m) and an outer bank (Wth 1.9-2.2m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.35m at N to 1-1.4m generally) (max. ext. diam. 18.4m E-W; 17.7m N-S). There is a faint causeway (Wth c. 1.5m) at SW. The ceremonial enclosure (LE008-004001-) is c. 80m to the SSW and the mound barrow (LE008-002----) is c. 35m to the W. Situated on a slight NE-SW ridge on the lower NW-facing slope of Saddle Hill, and overlooking Lough Melvin which lies to the NE. This is a grass-covered circular area (int. diam. 113m N-S; 109m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3m; H 0.3m) N-E, which is mainly reduced to a scarp elsewhere. The bank is separated by a fosse (Wth at S 4m; at E 7m) from an outer bank (Wth 3.2m; H 1.2m at N). A lane occupies the fosse NW-N-SE and there is a limestone standing stone (H 0.7m) which is probably not ancient in the NE quadrant of the enclosure. An original entrance is not identified.
