H 1.1m) NW->SE. Scarp is best preserved NW->NE, but elsewhere is gradual and somewhat indistinct in profile. Counterscarp has dumped material covering it at N. Interior gently dips down to shallow hollow just E-of-centre; SE quadrant covered by thicket of brambles and nettles as is enclosing element in this area. Terrain immediately E of enclosure is marshy. Avenue leading to farmyard curves to avoid enclosure on W side. Field boundary, shown abutting enclosure at NE on 1924 OS 6-inch map, has been removed.
