In pasture, on break in W-facing slope. Ovoid area (52m N-S) enclosed by dry-stone stone wall (ext. H 1.54m), heavily masked by vegetation cover. Gaps in wall at W (Wth 7m) and SSE (Wth 4.9m). Noticeable dip (D 0.25m) immediately inside gap at SSE. Interior littered with heaps of earth and stone, particularly in N half. Disused passage skirts around enclosure SE->SW, whilst a newly constructed passage skirts around SW->SE. A dry-stone wall (ext. H 0.45m) runs along outer edge of fosse NW->ESE. Now evident as D-shaped area (18.8m N-S; 23m E-W) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank (int. H 0.8m; ext. H 0.7m) E->W, and defined by straight field wall on N side. Thorn bushes protrude from bank. H 0.2m) best preserved at S; outer bank (int. H 0.25m; ext. H 0.2m) has a greater internal height, suggesting it falls into an infilled fosse. Field boundary skirts around outer bank NNW->NE before clipping it at NE->SE. Interior, under pasture, dips towards centre where there is a cluster of nettles. H 0.15m) can be traced NNW->NNE, with very low rise (H c. 0.1m) evident as continuation NNE->ESE (diam. c. 27m NW-SE). According to landowner, enclosure levelled to present condition in 1950s.
