The site is not depicted on historic OSi maps but is visible on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-12. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 18002 on AP 4/3689) and by the Discovery Programme in 1996 (McCloud Photo AB 9, Limerick OS23) as an enclosure (ext. diam. 40m N-S; 32m E-W). The site consists of a crescent-shaped area defined by a low bank (Wth 5.5m) with an external fosse (Wth 3m). The enclosure is faintly visible on Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018. The field boundaries are orientated NNE-SSW and are roughly spaced 50m apart. Nine parallel boundaries form part of the system (ext. dims. 350m NE-SW; 490m SE-NW).
