Flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 2.5m) can be traced SW->NNW and NE->E. Bank and fosse quarried out at E with substantial drop from top of scarp (H 3.35m; Wth 7.5m) to base of excavation. Level interior, heavily masked by vegetation overgrowth, is accessible in places where cattle have trampled down overgrowth.
