Level interior is covered by mature coniferous trees which also cover much of enclosing element. Immediately to SE is ovoid area (26m N-S; 17.5m E-W) defined by a scarped edge (H 0.65m; Wth 5.25m), which is covered by nettles and thistles; this may be annex associated with enclosure but as likely a natural limestone feature.
