OSi 6-inch map as an oval-shaped platform (diam. c. 100m NE-SW) defined by a scarp, intersected at N and SW by post-1700 field boundaries running NE-SW. Partially levelled monument shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map where a section of the curving bank is shown with hachures from N-W only where the bank intersects with the townland boundary running N-S. The curving form of the townland boundary from E to SSE incorporates the original enclosing bank of the large enclosure. In 1840 the Ordnance Survey recorded this monument as ‘a large fort of uncommon size called Glenma Fort’ (OSNB Abbeyfeale to Bruree, 138). Monument visible as a D-shaped area (dims. c. 85m N-S; 83m E-W) with straight side at W enclosed by a tree-covered bank, incorporated into townland boundary from E-SE on OSi orthophotograph taken between 2005-12. A parcel is the land of a title, not an address. The owner's name is in the Land Registry of Tailte Éireann: a copy of the folio can be ordered on landdirect.ie, for a fee; this site names no owner. A price is the price recorded for a past sale, not a valuation.
