Described by O'Kelly (1944, 19) as following; 'This is very much defaced, only one of the side stones of the chamber remaining. Resting on it is, another stone which may have been a cap-stone, but this even is not certain, for it was removed by the land-owner who bored a hole in it near one end and used it as a gate-post. It was later returned to the site due to superstitious fears. About 3' [0.9m] to the E. of these there is a third stone which is partly embedded in a modern fence. Site of cave described by Lynch (1913, 20) as following; 'Just outside Mr. Leahy's yard wall is a fine conglomerate, which many years ago, Mr. Leahy was informed, was used as a Mass Rock. About sixty yards [55m] north of this Mr. Kelly pointed out the exact spot where the cave was discovered. Mr. Leahy Jnr., heard old men from Bruff say that the entrance to the cave was formed of cut stone. It is about 100 yards [91m] due east of the cromleac [LI032-120----]. In wet pasture, liable to floods, 85m N of a townland boundary with Ballydaheen and 90m W of a townland boundary with Kilballyowen. Ring-barrows (LI032-217/216----) lie 250m to E and 300m to W respectively. Annotated ‘Bullaun’ on the current edition OSi 6-inch map. Monument described by Lynch (1913, 21) as: ‘At the south-east extremity [of a drained swamp between Greallach and Ardnaboula, Knockderk and Ballydaheen], we found the Rock well, or Bullaun; it is 22 inches (56cm) deep by 14 inches (36cm) in diameter, and perfect in form as the exterior of an egg shell, and exactly similar to the one [ LI032-038----] near Bourchier’s Castle [LI032-022034-]’. Monument is not visible on OSi orthoimages taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013 or on Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018, although a small, brown worn patch of grass near this spot, may indicate the precise location. In improved pasture, 35m SSW of a dwelling house, 65m E of a watercourse and 70m E of a public road which also marks a townland boundary with Tullybracky. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified by Grogan (1989, 278-9) as a habitation site and labelled Grillagh 2 which he described as follows: 'flint artefacts, 7 scrapers and 9 miscellaneous artefacts associated with a coarse ware vessel found in a garden.' Monument is not visible on OSi orthoimages taken 2005-2012, or on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013 or on Google Earth orthoimages taken 28/06/2018. The precise location of this monument cannot be confirmed as there is no access to thesis in the paper file. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 293: AP 5/2010), as a rectilinear-shaped cropmark. Monument is visible as a rectilinear-shaped cropmark (40m NW-SE; 41m NE-SW), which is best seen on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012 and is visible as a similar shaped and sized, faint cropmark on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 16/03/2016.
