An animal track runs N-S along the scarp on the W side. The interior surface slopes down to the S. H 0.1m; Wth 3m; int. H 0.9m) with an external fosse (Wth 2.5m; D 0.6m). There is a dip (Wth 10m) in the bank at SSE. The fosse is wide and flat-bottomed. The interior surface is uneven and slopes down to the E. The monument consists of a circular area (16.6m N-S; 15.5m E-W) defined by a scarped edge (Wth 3m; H 0.6m) with an external fosse (Wth 2m) and an external bank (int. H 0.3m; Wth 2m; ext. H 0.25m). There is a reduction in the height of the scarp to S (Wth. 3.7m) and it has been eroded at NE and SE. The fosse is evident from NE to SE and SW to NNE. The external bank is intermittent from NE to SE, and from SW to NW. The interior is uneven and slopes down to S. The monument is obscured by dense scrub vegetation and is heavily poached by cattle. Indicated on the 1923 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) truncated at E by a field boundary. It is now evident as a circular area enclosed by an earthen bank (ext. H 0.5m; Wth 1.3m; int. H 0.3m). The monument consists of a roughly circular area (21m NW-SE; 17.9m NE-SW) defined by a scarped edge (Wth 4.4 - 6.5m; H 0.9m), with an external fosse (Wth 3.5m; D 0.3m) evident from S to N and possibly in NNE. Situated in undulating reclaimed pasture, E of a small tributary of the Groody River and W of two ringforts (LI014-043/-044----) located 115m and 150m to E respectively. Field system possibly associated with two ringfort that was inspected in 2005 and described as consisting of several earthen banks, fosses and mounds visible in two fields.
