Band of tall dark grass (Wth c. 2.5m) runs along base of scarp S->N, and probably indicates line of infilled fosse. Break in scarp at N (Wth 3.5m). Interior, under pasture, dips slightly down towards centre. Monument, depicted as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) on 1841 OS 6-inch map, has been modified to form small paddock attached to farmyard. Now consists of roughly circular area (38m N-S; 39m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.85m) with recent drainage ditch running immediately outside it N->SW, and defined by concrete-block wall SW->N. Gate in block wall gives access to interior; just inside wall to NW is pump house and there is tap on post in centre of enclosure. A hedge has been planted along inside base of enclosing bank NE->SE.
