Eastern third is divided from remainder of interior by earth-and-stone bank (H 0.3m; axis NNE-SSW). H 0.65m; ext. H 0.5m), best preserved at ESE (ext. H 1.3m), has lime kiln (LI019-03702-) built against outer face at NE. Outer bank (ext. H 0.25m), best preserved NW->NNE, has been levelled E->SW. Fosse (D 0.5m) has been widened and deepened at NE to accommodate kiln. A dry-stone field wall runs tangentially to inner bank at S. Interior, under pasture, rises up gently towards centre.
