Situated in poorly drained pasture on a gentle slope down to the W towards the Mulkear river. Anothe rringfort (LI015-010----) is visible across the river to WNW. There are good views to N and S. The monument consists of a roughly circular area (33.2m N-S; 32.3m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank (int. H 0.3m; Wth 1.1m; int. H 0.9m) with an external fosse (Wth 1.6m), with traces of an external bank (int. H 0.3m; Wth 2m; ext. H 0.1m) from NW to SE. There is a gap in the external bank at SE. The monument consists of a roughly circular area (17.7m E-W; 17m N-S) defined by a scarped edge (Wth 2m; H 0.6m), with an external fosse (Wth 4.6m) evident from W to E and from ESE to S. There are traces of an external bank (int. H 0.3m; Wth 2m; ext. H 0.1m) in the ESE and SE. There is a corn drying kiln built into the scarp in the W. Situated in the SW edge of ringfort (LI015-013----), on a gentle SW-facing slope in poorly-drained, undulating pasture with good views in all directions. The basal remains of a keyhole shaped kiln (L 4.05m E-W) with a flue (2.35m E-W; 0.95m N-S) to W and a bowl (1.7m E-W; 1.65m N-S) to E. It is constructed of limestone blocks of various sizes and lengths with longer stones used in the flue's construction.
