Situated on a low rise in gently undulating pasture with good views to N, E and S. Indicated with hachures on the 1924 OS 6-inch map as an oval area (c. 50m N-S; 40m E-W) enclosed by a bank and surrounded by a field wall, enclosing a wooded area. The monument is not visible at ground level.

Situated immediately N of a field boundary on a gentle N-facing slope in fairly flat pasture with good views to W and S. The monument, depicted on the 1924 OS 6-inch map as a sub-circular area (c. 70m SW-NE; c. 70m E-W) enclosed by a bank and surrounded by a field wall, survives as a sub-circular area (57m N-S; 57m E-W) enclosed by a bank (int. Situated immediately E of a field boundary which runs N-S along a road. The monument is heavily masked by deciduous tree vegetation at its extremities and a dense cover of nettles and brambles in the interior. It is depicted on the1924 OS 6-inch map as a roughly square area (c. 40m N-S; 40m E-W) defined by a bank and external fosse. It survives as a rectangular area enclosed by an earthen bank (int. H 0.2m; Wth 2.1m; ext. H 2m), more substantial to the S and E. There is a gap in the bank at NW (Wth 2m) and there is a possible entrance causeway at N (Wth 7.5m). The fosse (Wth. 2m; ext. H 0.1m) is most evident on the N. E and S sides. The interior is strewn with loose stones and slopes down gently to NE. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 28 March 2013

Monument, depicted on the 1840 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) covered in trees, has been levelled but is still evident as a sub-oval area (c. 30m E-W; c. 33m N-S) defined by a scarped edge (Wth 2m; H 0.3m except at NW where the scarp has been truncated by a field boundary.
