Situated on a S-facing slope, immediately S of the N24 road and immediately W of a field boundary. Indicated on the 1923 OS 6-inch map as a sub-oval enclosure (c. 40m NW-SE; 20m NE-SW) immediately SW of and truncated by the N24 road. The monument, heavily obscured by dense scrub vegetation, consists of a roughly circular area (diam. c. 30m) defined by a scarped edge (Wth 3.3m; H 0.9m) with an external fosse (Wth 7m) and an earthen bank (int. H 0.5m; Wth 2.6m; ext. H 0.1m). There are traces of a further external bank at NW (int. H 0.6m; Wth 3.7m ext. H 0.1m). There is a gap in the enclosing element at S (Wth 1m). It consists of a roughly circular area (20m NE-SW; 18m N-S) enclosed by an earthen bank (int. H 0.25m; Wth 1.1m; ext. H 0.7m). There is a dip in the bank at WSW (Wth 4.5m). Pair of square-profile rendered piers having stepped caps, double-leaf cast-iron gates and rendered walls terminating in second pair of piers. Rendered boundary walls to site.

Single-pitched slate roof to lean-to. Lined-and-ruled rendered walls having blind square-headed niche to north transept.
