The bank has since been levelled but its outline and that of the infilled fosse are visible from ENE-S-NNW. It is divided by a NNW-SSE field boundary. Circa 50m to the W of a ringfort (LF015-050----). A pre-development archaeological assessment prior to development works near Edgeworthstown and subsequent excavation in 2004 revealed two charcoal-filled pits (Wth 0.45m; D 0.12m; Wth 0.8m; D 0.2m respectively) (OCarroll and Gilligan 2004, 10; OCarroll 2007, 250). In undulating pasture with good views in all directions. This possible enclosure was discovered in 2013 during the course of a review of LIDAR data where it is visible as a low circular bank-like feature (diam. c. 27m) (pers. comm. Dr Steve Davis, UCD). The monument has been levelled but the outline of a shallow circular depression marks its site. No other features are visible. On a low rise with good views in all directions. Discovered in 2013 during the course of a review of LIDAR data where it is visible as a raised area (diam. c. 45m) with an external fosse (pers. comm. Dr Steve Davis, UCD). The raised subcircular area (diam. 44m E-W; 40m N-S) is defined by a low scarp (H 0.2m) with the remains of a waterlogged external fosse (Wth 4m; ext. D 1m), now re-used as a field boundary, from SW-W-N. No other features are visible. Possibly a levelled ringfort. Semi-detached three-bay single-storey thatched house having flat-roofed windbreak porch to front elevation (southeast), built c. 1800. Later two-bay two-storey house attached to southwest gable end, c. 1880, having lean-to extension to rear (northwest) and possibly incorporating fabric of earlier building. Thatched roof to single-storey house having hipped end to the northeast and pitched end to the southwest. Rendered chimneystack offset to the centre. Painted roughcast rendered walls over smooth rendered plinth course. Square-headed window openings with replacement windows and painted sills. Square-headed doorway to the front face of windbreak porch having replacement door. Two-storey house attached to the southwest end with pitched slate roof having raised rendered verges and render chimneystacks to gable ends, roughcast rendered walls over smooth rendered plinth course, and square-headed window openings with stone sills and replacement fittings. Rubble stone boundary wall and wrought-iron pedestrian gate to northwest end of thatched house. Set well back from road in own grounds to the north of Edgeworthstown. Two-bay single-storey outbuilding to southwest with pitched corrugated-metal roof, rubble stone walls, and square-headed openings. Rendered boundary wall to south of site. Set on the side of a cul-de-sac, off a public road. Entrance gateway to the northeast comprising a pair of rendered gate piers (on square-plan) having wrought-iron flat bar gates.
