On a NE-facing slope in pasture. A raised subcircular area (54.5m NW-SE; 51.2m NE-SW) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.3m; H 1.1m max.) with an external fosse (Wth 4.1m; D 0.6m). Drystone masonry has been applied to the outer face of the bank in places. A modern field bank at the outer lip of the fosse, from SSW-N-NNE and from ESE-SE-SSE, may have been fashioned from a pre-existing outer bank. Elsewhere the fosse has been infilled but its outline is still identifiable. The original entrance is not recognisable. A short distance inside the bank at NNW is a low, subrectangular mound of earth and stone (10.8m N-S; 4.5m E-W; H 0.1m -0.4m) of uncertain significance. Compiled by: Patrick F. A report in 1975 (SMR file) recorded an external fosse, which is no longer identifiable. From NW-N-NNE, at the external base of the bank, there is a modern ENE-WSW field wall and a farm building. The original entrance is not recognisable. Immediately inside a modern entrance at E is a quarry hole. Compiled by: Patrick F. There is no trace of a fosse and the original entrance is not recognisable. A portion of the SE quadrant has been destroyed due to the construction of a modern NE-SW roadway.
