On a SW-facing slope in low-lying pasture. A raised circular area (diam. 35.5m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 5.3m; H 1.25m max.). From NNW-N-NNE, where it is bordered by the Longford-Edgeworthstown road, and from SSW-W-NW, the bank has been levelled but its outline is still identifiable. A raised circular area (diam. 33.5m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.3m; H 0.9m max.), an intervening fosse (Wth 4.8m; D 1.4m), outer bank (Wth 5.4m; H 1.25m) and outer fosse (Wth 4.1m; D 0.6m). From NW–N–NE the external face of the outer bank has been modified and the outer fosse has been infilled but its outline is still identifiable. A report in 1975 (SMR file) recorded a third low bank; it also noted that the interior was bisected into roughly equal portions by a low bank and fosse, aligned NE–SW. These features are no longer visible at ground level. A break (Wth 4.1m) in the banks at SE with an accompanying causeway marks the original entrance. A raised circular area (diam. 19.1m) enclosed by an inner wide, low bank of earth and stone (Wth 5m; H 0.2-0.7m), an inner fosse (Wth 3.3m; D 1.2m), a wide, low middle bank (Wth 5.9m; H 1.4m) and an outer fosse (Wth 2.9m; D 0.8m), with a low outer bank (Wth 3.7m; H 0.25m). The outer bank is identifiable only from NW–NNW–N and from E–ESE–SE. A break (Wth 3.1m) in the banks at ENE with an accompanying causeway marks the original entrance. Compiled by: Patrick F. In pasture at the base of a gentle ESE-facing slope. A raised D-shaped area (diam. 39.3m NW-SE; 37.1m NE-SW), with a straight SE side, enclosed by a wide low bank of earth and stone (Wth 6.1m; max. H 0.35m) with a shallow external fosse (Wth 3.4m; D 0.4m). A stream flows outside the bank along the SE side and between it and the bank is a ledge or berm (Wth 4.1m; max. H 0.1m). A report in 1975 (SMR file) recorded a low outer bank from S-W-E, it has since been levelled. The original entrance is not recognisable. Another ringfort (LF014-103----) lies c. 20m to the N. A report in 1975 (SMR file) recorded an almost completely levelled circular area (diam. c. 33m) enclosed by a low bank and a shallow external fosse at SE, S and W. The NE quadrant was cut by a NW-SE running field boundary and only a low rise with slight traces of the fosse survived to its NE. The original entrance was not recognisable. Double-arch road bridge over small (unnamed) river/stream, built c. 1800. Roughly coursed rubble stone spandrel walls, abutments and pier. Dressed limestone voussoirs to arches.
