A report in 1975 (SMR file) described the rath as a slightly raised subcircular area (c. 32m N-S; c. 26m E-W) defined by a low scarp with a shallow external fosse. The original entrance was not recognisable. It has since been levelled and its location is marked by a circular, low mound of earth and stone (diam. 29.7m; max. H 0.55m). Compiled by: Patrick F. There was a wide, shallow, external fosse along the SE and SW sides and a modern drain along the other two sides. The original entrance was not recognisable. In level, low-lying pasture. A report in 1975 (SMR file) recorded a raised circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by a wide, low bank of earth and stone with a shallow external fosse. Most of the W half had been destroyed due to the construction of a modern NW-SE roadway. The original entrance was not recognisable. Roughcast rendered walls over smooth rendered plinth course. Square-headed window openings having timber casement windows with multi-pane overlights, all with concrete sills. Square-headed door opening to front face of porch (southwest) having timber battened door with glazed overlight. Set back from road in own grounds in the rural countryside to the northwest of Edgeworthstown. Rendered boundary walls and rendered gate piers (on square-plan) to road-frontage (southwest). - Corboy Presbyterian Church, church/chapel, 1725–1735, National interest, registry number 13401440, https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=LF®no=13401440. Detached six-bay single-storey barn-type Presbyterian meeting house, built or rebuilt c. 1729 and altered c. 1880. Single-bay two-storey pitched-roof block to rear (north), formerly in use as a manse. Steeply pitched, hipped natural slate roof. Roughcast render over rubble limestone masonry walls with rendered plinth course. Round-headed window openings having twelve-over-twelve timber sliding sash windows with intersecting tracery to heads and with tooled limestone sills. Round-headed window opening to east elevation having stained glass window, added c. 1880. Two round-headed door openings to main elevation having carved limestone block-and-start surrounds with sculpted keystones, battened timber double doors and fanlight over with intersecting tracery. Set back from road in own grounds to the northwest of Edgeworthstown. Graveyard to site with eighteenth and nineteenth-century grave markers. Site surrounded by rubble stone boundary walls. Detached three-bay single-storey former school, built c. 1870, with single-bay single-storey lean-to extension/block attached to the east gable end. Now in disuse. Pitched natural slate roof having ashlar limestone chimneystack to either end with projecting string course. Smooth cement rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with two-over-two timber sliding sash windows having limestone sills. Square-headed opening to east face to lean-to block/extension having timber battened door. Set back from road in own grounds to the northwest of Edgeworthstown. Site bounded on three-sides by rubble stone boundary wall, cement rendered boundary wall to the east. Main gateway to the south of house comprising a pair of cut stone gate posts having chamfered corners and pyramidal caps, and having a pair of wrought-iron gates with decorative finials.
