On low-lying marshy ground. This natural spring is enclosed by a substantial drystone wall (H 0.5-1m; Wth 0.5m). The entrance is at E. A holy bush (LF023-048002-) is associated. On a gentle W-facing slope in pasture. A raised subcircular area (c. 52m N-S; c. 49m E-W) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 2.6m; H 0.2-0.4m) with traces of a shallow external fosse (Wth 2.2m; D 0.2m), which are identifiable only at S and from WSW-W-NW. The bank has been modified and incorporated into a field boundary from NE-E-SSW. The original entrance is not recognisable. The ground level of the interior rises appreciably from the bank towards the centre. A scarp (H 0.5-0.6m) extends for a short distance to the W of the centre and then northwards towards the bank. A report in 1976 (SMR file) recorded an irregularly shaped stony area, of unknown significance, at the centre. It is densely overgrown with scrub. Compiled by: Patrick F. On a low rise in pasture within the demesne lands of 'Doory Hall'. Depicted on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a circle of trees. The trees have been removed. Remains comprise a level circular area (diam. 22.4m) defined by a wide, V-shaped fosse. A description of the monument in 1976 (SMR file) recorded very slight traces of a bank at the outer lip of the fosse at W which is no longer visible. From WNW-NW-N the fosse is incorporated into the field boundary. No entrance is visible. It has been suggested that this, and two adjacent earthworks (LF023-076002-, LF023-079003-), may comprise a barrow cemetery (SMR file) but on the basis of their proximity to 'Doory Hall', their cartographic depiction and surviving remains it is more than probable that they are 18th- or 19th-century landscape features. Remains comprise a level oval-shaped area (48.5m NW-SE; 26.5m NE-SW) defined by a scarp with a wide, well-defined V-shaped external fosse. No entrance is visible. It has been suggested that this, and two adjacent earthworks (LF023-076001-, LF023-079003-), may comprise a barrow cemetery (SMR file) but on the basis of their proximity to 'Doory Hall', their cartographic depiction and surviving remains it is more than probable that they are 18th- or 19th-century landscape features. It has been suggested that this, and two adjacent earthworks (LF023-076001-, LF023-079002-), may comprise a barrow cemetery (SMR file) but on the basis of their proximity to 'Doory Hall', their cartographic depiction and surviving remains it is more than probable that they are 18th- or 19th-century landscape features. On a W-facing slope in undulating pasture c. 330m W of 'Doory House'. A large tree plantation is depiced at this location on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. A raised circular area (45m NW-SE; 36m NE-SW) is defined by a scarp (H 1m) with an intervening fosse (Wth 3.8m; D 0.3m) and traces of a low outer bank (Wth 3.1m; H 0.3-0.6m) from S-N-E and an outer fosse (Wth 1.3m; D 0.3m max.) from NW-NE. The original entrance is not recognisable. Within the interior are the remains of a possible souterrain (LF023-080002-). Within the interior of a rath (LF023-080001-). A linear hollow (L c. 16m; Wth 2.2-2.4m; D 0.4-0.5m), aligned E-W, extends from the perimeter of the rath at W towards the centre of the interior. In a slight hollow in undulating pasture. A raised circular area (diam. c. 20m) enclosed by a much-denuded, low bank of earth and stone (Wth c. 2.5m; H 0.3m) from W-NW-NNW and elsewhere defined by a scarp (H 0.4m). At the base of the scarp at S are traces of a wide shallow fosse (Wth 5m; D 0.3m). A report in 1976 (SMR file) recorded that the original entrance was at E. - Doory Hall, outbuilding, 1810–1830, Regional interest, registry number 13314001, https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=LF&regno=13314001. Complex of single and two-storey stables and outbuildings associated with Doory Hall (13314005), built c. 1820 and possibly containing the fabric of earlier buildings. Arranged around a courtyard to the north of the main house. Detached multiple-bay two-storey outbuilding range to southwest side of stableyard having central single-bay three-storey pedimented breakfront with integral elliptical-headed carriage arch and with projecting end bays. Section to the north end now in use to as a private house with single-bay single-storey entrance porch to the southwest elevation having hipped slate roof over. Hipped natural slate roof with rendered chimneystacks and some cast-iron rainwater goods. Pitched slate roof with cast-iron weather vane and cut stone coping to central pedimented section. Roughcast rendered walls with cut limestone eaves course, cut limestone string course and with cast-iron clock face to pediment. Square-headed window openings to northwest end of façade with tooled cut limestone sills and one-over-one timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed window openings to rear façade having paired four-over-four timber sliding sash and replacement windows. Square-headed openings to pedimented breakfront having timber louvered fittings. Square-headed door openings to rear (northeast) with timber doors. Square-headed doorway to porch having timber panelled door, and with glazed surround and overlight. Detached three-bay two-storey coach house to the northeast side of courtyard, having hipped slate roof. Roughcast rendered over rubble limestone construction with cut limestone quoins to the corners. Square-headed window openings to upper storey with cut limestone sills and red brick dressings. Round-headed archway/carriage arch to ground floor, central bay, with cut limestone surround and red brick voussoirs, having corresponding infilled arch to rear elevation (northeast). Segmental-headed carriage arch openings flanking central archway having red brick dressings. Detached multiple-bay single-storey outbuilding ranges to the northwest and southeast sides of yard, having pitched slate roofs and brick chimneystacks. Roughcast rendered random rubble limestone walls. Square-headed openings with red brick dressings having remains of timber battened doors and cast-iron multi-paned and timber framed windows. Segmental-headed carriage arches to the single-storey building to the southeast side of yard having red brick dressings and voussoirs. Located in extensive mature grounds to the northeast of Barry. Walled garden (13314003) adjacent to the south. Main house (13314005) to the south.

Gateway, erected c. 1900, comprising a pair of cut limestone monolithic gate posts (on octagonal-plan) with double leaf cast and wrought-iron gates having cast-iron fleur-de-lis finials and intersecting wrought-iron bars. Rubble limestone boundary walls to either side (northwest and southeast). Set on an axis with the main entrance to the stable/outbuilding complex (13314001) at Doory Hall to the northwest, and to the north of the remains of the main house (13314005). Located to the northeast of Barry.

Walled garden complex associated with Doory Hall (13314005), erected c. 1780, comprising two separate rectangular enclosures to the northeast of the main house. Rubble limestone boundary walls, with roughly coursed limestone construction to party wall between two enclosures. Red brick lining to a number of the internal walls to the lower walled enclosure (southeast). Gateway to the southeast side of lower enclosure (southeast) having a pair of ashlar limestone gate piers (on square-plan) with stepped cut limestone capping and projecting cut limestone plinth, having decorative double leaf wrought-iron gates. Segmental-headed archway to party wall having cut limestone surround, carved limestone impost stones and cut limestone voussoirs, and having double-leaf timber battened gates. Gardener's cottage/school (13314014) to southeast enclosure. Located within the Doory Hall demesne, adjacent to Doory Hall outbuilding complex (13314001) and to the northeast of Doory Hall itself. An avenue of elm trees leads to the southeast entrance gate from Doory Hall house. Located to the northeast of Barry.

Detached four-bay single-storey estate workers house/possible school, built c. 1820, now disused. Pitched slate roof with overhanging eaves and brick chimneystacks. Roughcast rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with tooled cut limestone sills and paired six-over-six timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed door opening with tooled cut limestone block-and-start surround and timber battened door. Set in walled garden complex (13314003) within Doory Hall demesne, the northeast elevation of the building forming part of the garden wall. Located to the northeast of the main house (13314005) and to the northeast of Barry.

Entrance gateway serving Doory Hall (13314005; now in ruins), erected c. 1820, comprising a pair of ashlar limestone gate piers (on square-plan) having chamfered plinths to base, stepped capstones and a pair of cast-iron gates with elaborate cast-iron finials. Sections of rubble stone boundary wall to either side (southwest and northeast). Located to the northwest of Doory Hall (in ruins), at the start of a long approach avenue, and to the southeast of Keenagh and the northeast of Barry.
