A raised subcircular area (37.4m N-S; 34.3m E-W) enclosed at NNW, from NE-ENE-E, at SE and at W by a bank of earth and stone (Wth 5-6.4m; H 0.3-0.8m) and elsewhere defined by a scarp (H 1.3-1.9m), with a wide intervening fosse (Wth 7.5-10m; D 0.7-0.8m) from NE-E-NW and an outer bank (Wth 3.8m; H 0.65m) from SW-W-NW.
