At the NW end of a high, prominent, NW-SE drumlin ridge. A raised circular area (diam. c. 48m) enclosed by a substantial bank of earth and stone (Wth 6.9m; H 1.1m) with a narrow external fosse (Wth 1.2m; D 0.75m). The original entrance is not recognisable. National Monument No. 640. Straddling the top and the upper E-facing slope of a drumlin. A raised oval area (c. 38m ENE-WSW; 35.5m NNW-SSE) enclosed by a substantial, although partially eroded, bank of earth and stone (Wth 5.8-9m; H 0.9-1.9m) with a wide, deep, waterlogged external fosse (Wth 5.9-7m; D 0.2-1.65m). On a low drumlin rise. Depicted as a circular enclosure with the designation 'Fort' on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. A raised subcircular area (35m N-S; 33m E-W) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 2.4-3.8m; H 0.3-0.9m). Drystone masonry has been applied to the outer face of the bank from SSW-N-E. Elsewhere it has been destroyed due to the construction of now-disused farm buildings. There is no trace of a fosse and the original entrance is not recognisable. On a SE-facing slope in rough pasture. A raised circular area (diam. 39.8m) enclosed by a bank of earth and stone (Wth c. 4m; H 0.2-0.5m) from WNW-NW and from NNE-E-ESE. At the base of the bank is a largely infilled fosse (Wth 3.1m; D 0.3m). From SE-S-W the circuit and morphology of the perimeter has been altered where it has been incorporated into a NW-SE field boundary. The original entrance is not recognisable.
