In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Rectangular cairn of stones (L 8m, Wth 4m, max. H 0.9m) aligned N-S. Various boulders set on edge in the cairn material do not appear to form any distinct plan. Locally known as 'Leabaidh a Chait'. (CLAJ 1914, 236)

First marked on the OS 1:2500 plan (surveyed 1907) as 'The Long Woman's Grave'. According to OS records 'the county surveyor in making a new line of road has placed three feet of rubbish over the grave and its position cannot be accurately ascertained' (OS 6-inch Revision Name Book (1862), Sheet 5, 23).
