The proposed greenway will connect to existing and future sections of the overall cross-border Carlingford Lough Greenway network.The proposal will comprise a shared walking and cycling greenway ranging in width from 2m to 3m that will be constructed mainly with an unbound granular surface course. It will also incorporate the following components: •a 1.2m high post and rail timber fence or other appropriate boundary fencing on each side of the greenway including the installation of stock proof fencing, security fencing, privacy screening, planting and boundary walls where required; •an adjacent 0.5 - 1m wide over the edge ‘v-ditch’ drainage channel or french drain and a 0.5m buffer strip along the Greenway.; •a new box culvert as extension of existing culverted private accesses at L70541 (locally known as Shore Road) and installation of safety barriers where required and a 140m section of asphalt surface providing a shared surface along a private access; additional cycle parking facilities and new trail head signage at Omeath Pier; •traffic and transport improvements such as new signage and road markings where the greenway interacts with public roads, access controls (pedestrian/cycle friendly gates), road markings and traffic calming measures; •all necessary site works such as tree felling, route clearance, sea wall repairs and fencing. In addition to the above, and in accordance with the provisions of Article 81(2)(c) of the Planning & Development Regulations 2001, the proposed development comprises the removal of a small 5m section of the boundary wall of Omra Park which will not materially affect the character of a protected structure. Return with lean-to corrugated asbestos roof to rear (north), range of single-storey outbuildings to west with single-pitch profiled metal roof. Pitched slate roof, clay ridge tiles, tiled verges, unpainted smooth rendered corbelled chimneystacks, half-round uPVC gutters on eaves corbel course. Painted roughcast rendered walling. Square-headed window openings, painted stone sills, painted smooth rendered reveals, painted timber six-over-six sliding sash windows to front elevation, six-over-three to rear elevation, casement windows in return and to gable, nine-pane inward-opening casements to attic north elevation. Square-headed door opening; painted timber four-panel entrance door with carved moulding to framing, bipartite plain glazed overlight; painted timber double doors with tripartite overlight to east end of front elevation, lower panels vertically-sheeted, upper panels glazed and horizontally sub-divided. Set in own grounds with outbuildings to north and west, landscaped front garden to south, central concrete path leading from hooped wrought-iron pedestrian gate at roadside, painted rendered low-level boundary wall.

Pitched slate roof, roll-top red clay ridge tiles, red brick stepped chimneystacks to gables with moulded corner details and concrete caps, half-round uPVC gutters on painted timber fascia on exposed rafter ends, circular cast-iron downpipes, painted timber projecting bargeboards with sheeted soffit. Painted ruled-and-lined smooth rendered walling, first floor string course, raised block-and-start quoins. Square-headed window openings, painted stone sills, painted timber two-over-two sliding sash windows; segmental-headed window openings to first floor east gable, painted timber one-over-one sliding sash windows. Square-headed entrance door opening, painted timber four-panel door with lozenge panels and raised-and-fielded mouldings, cast-iron door furniture, plain-glazed overlight, set in timber-framed porch with turned corner posts and balustraded frieze, approached by granite steps to tiled porch step.
