## Architectural heritage (National Inventory of Architectural Heritage)

- Highwood Mill, mill (wind), 1785–1790, Regional interest, registry number 31311901, https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=MA&regno=31311901. Freestanding single-bay three-stage tapering windmill tower, dated 1787, on a circular plan. In ruins, 1893. Roof now missing. Part ivy-covered coursed rubble limestone battered walls with rough hewn limestone coping. Square-headed opposing door openings with overgrown thresholds, and remains of rough hewn limestone lintels with no fittings surviving. Square-headed window openings (upper stages) with rough hewn limestone lintels. Interior in ruins. Set back from road on outcrop.
