Adjacent to a farmstead. This enclosure is shown on the on the 1837 and 1930 OS 6-inch maps as a circular, ringfort-sized enclosure (diam. 20-25m). On the 1930 edition it is shown incorporated into later field boundaries at SW and N, with farm buildings immediately adjacent at NE and SE. The enclosure has been levelled. The location is grassed over and partly engulfed in overgrowth on the W side, which is bordered by a N–S field boundary. In pasture, located on a low ridge. This enclosure is shown as a circular, ringfort-sized enclosure (diam. 20-25m) on the 1838 and 1930 OS 6-inch maps. In average pasture, located on top of a narrow N–S ridge, which provides extensive views in all directions. The E-facing slope of the ridge falls into a small valley with a stream that skirts the ridge at E−SW. Slightly raised, circular area (30m N–S; c. 30m E–W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.8m at N, 4.6m at S; int. H 0.75m at N, 0.4m at S; ext. H 1.6m at N, 1.4m at S). A section of the bank at NE–SE has been levelled and is now evident as a slight scarp or undulation. It seems likely that the original entrance was on this side. There are numerous narrow breaks, eroded by farm stock, around the circuit, with the largest break (Wth 2m) at SSW. The interior is level. This is the location of a spring well, now infilled. According to local tradition, it once consisted of a small pool (diam. c. 2-3m) enclosed by a low wall, and was known as a holy well, where prayers were said. According to one source, rags were tied to an adjacent bush. Tradition also said that there were burials (MA030-092002-)in the surrounding field. Detached three-bay (three-bay deep) two-storey pedimented dower house, extant 1878, on a symmetrical plan centred on single-bay single-storey pedimented projecting porch to ground floor. Occupied, 1901; 1911. Renovated, ----. Now disused. Pitched (gable-fronted) roofs including pitched (gabled) roof (porch), central chimney stack having cut-limestone stepped capping supporting crested terracotta or yellow terracotta octagonal or tapered pots, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves retaining cast-iron downpipes. Replacement cement rendered, ruled and lined wall to front (south) elevation on rendered chamfered plinth with rendered, ruled and lined monolithic "pilasters" to corners supporting lichen-covered "Cyma Recta" or "Cyma Reversa" pediment. Square-headed window opening (porch) with cut-limestone sill, and concealed dressings with hood moulding framing two-over-two timber sash window. Set in unkempt landscaped grounds with wrought iron "estate railings" centred on cast-iron colonette piers supporting looped wrought iron double gates.
