This was known locally as a fort and was described in 1967 as a circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 38m N-S; 37.3m E-W) defined by an overgrown scarp (at W: Wth 3.2m; H 1.8m) E-S-W that might have been largely natural, but there was no evidence of a bank or fosse W-N-E.
