Located on a rise towards the bottom of a S-facing slope and it overlooks a W-E section of a stream, which is c. 30m to the S. The stream flows from Lough Morne which is c. 250m to the NW. This is a circular overgrown area (diam. 32m E-W; 30.5m N-S) defined by a slight bank (at SW: Wth of base 3.2m; Wth of top 0.7m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 2.5m) that is largely reduced to a scarp with a stone-facing (at SW: H 1.2m) at its base and an outer drain. The original entrance (Wth of base 1.9m) at ESE is now closed by the stone-facing. Pointed-arch window openings having painted stone block-and-start surrounds with stone sills and Y-traceried windows. Triple lancet window to front (north) gable having painted stone block-and-start surround with painted stone sill. Quatrefoil windows to east and west gables having painted stone surrounds. Pointed-arch door openings to front elevation having painted timber tongued-and-grooved double-leaf doors with overlights. Square-headed door opening to addition, having painted rendered surround and timber tongued-and-grooved door. Interior having painted rendered walls, stained-glass windows, exposed timber beam ceiling, timber galleries to east and west and timber pews. Series of granite steps leading to front of church. Building set within graveyard on elevated site.
