Located on a low-lying landscape with drumlins to the N and S and with a small NE-SW stream or drain c. 20m to the S. An early pyramidal cross base (dims of base 0.68m x 0.64m; dims of top 0.38m x 0.33m; H 0.49m) with a mortice (dims 0.25m x 0.18m; D 0.1m), indications of moulding at the sloping angles and an uneven base (D 0.35m plus) is partly buried in the field. According to local reports a portion of a stone cross was found nearby some years previously while cutting drains and was reburied in the same area. Detached two-storey house, built c.1800 and extended c.1870, former part being four-bay with rendered walls and latter two-bay with exposed stonework, latter also having gable-fronted bays to south-east and north-east, latter elevation having canted projections. Gabled return to rear (north-west) elevation, and with recent porch to rear. Pitched slate roof with terracotta ridge tiles, cut-stone chimneystacks having clay chimneypots, timber bargeboards, and replacement rainwater goods. Hipped slate roofs to canted projections. Coursed rubble sandstone and limestone walls with squared sandstone block-and-start quoins, roughcast rendered walls to rear and south-west of front elevation, render plinth course to rear. Square-headed window openings having replacement uPVC windows throughout, some with render sills. Tooled limestone surrounds to south-east and north-east gables, having render sills and tooled stone label-mouldings. Farmyard to rear of Clonamully House, erected c.1870, comprising L-plan outbuilding having seven-bay two-storey block to north-west and three-bay block to south-west. Pitched corrugated-iron roof, with cast-iron rainwater goods. Rock-faced rusticated limestone walls to north-west block, and coursed rubble limestone walls to south-west. Raised crenellated wall to rear of north-west elevation of north-west block, with cut sandstone quoins. Square-headed window openings having metal-framed windows to first floor. Gauged tooled sandstone surrounds to square-headed openings to ground floor. Timber battened doors and timber-framed windows to openings. Gauged tooled sandstone three-centred-arch openings, some having timber battened doors. Square-headed window openings to north-east elevation of outbuilding with tooled sandstone surrounds, sills, hood-mouldings and paired timber-framed pointed windows. Carved robin to hood-moulding to ground floor.
