It is depicted as a circular feature (diam. c. 40m) defined by a field bank and described in gothic lettering as a ‘fort’ on the 1834 edition of the OS 6-inch map and as a curve in a field bank SSE-W-NNW on the 1907 edition. The curved field bank (Chord 49m) defined by an external scarp (H 1.8m) was extant in 1984 but had been removed by 1995 (OSAP), although it was known locally as a fort. Roughcast rendered walls, with painted inscribed plaque 'Corragh Orange Hall / 1890' in Gaelic script to front of porch. Square-headed window openings, now boarded up.
