This is an oval or D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 36.6m NE-SW; 29.4m NW-SE) that slopes down slightly to the S. It is defined by an earthen bank and hedge with an outer fosse, but the fosse is replaced by a roadway W-N-ENE. The entrance (Wth of base 2m) is at SSE.
