Located on the spine of a small NNW-SSE drumlin ridge towards the N end. This is a subcircular grass and scrub-covered area (dims 43m NNW-SSE; 38m NE-SW) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth of base 8-9m; int. H 0.5-1m; ext. H 2.3-2.5m) separated by a fosse (Wth of top 7-8.5m; Wth of base 1-2m; ext. D 1.2-1.5m) from an outer bank (Wth of base 4-7m; ext. H 0.3m at N to 2.2m at S). A berm (at SSE: Wth 5m) intervenes between the fosse and the outer bank ESE-SW, while the fosse and outer bank have been almost eroded away N-E. There is an outer fosse (Wth of top 8m; Wth of base 1m; ext. D 1m) SE-WNW (max. ext. diam. 80m NNW-SSE). The entrance through the inner bank (Wth of base 1.6m) and a causeways (Wth of top 2.4m; H 0.7m) across the inner fosse are at SE but the outer features are rather eroded here.
