It is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 35m NW-SE) defined by the curving field bank and hedge SE-W –NW but a low bank (Wth c. 3m; H 0.25m) survives inside the line of the field bank W-N. The area is now bisected by a NW-SE field bank and hedge but at the N end it changes direction to NNW-SSE. A small section of an earthen bank (L 2m; H 1m) projects W from the field bank at this point.
