- MO023-037: Ringfort - rath, https://heritagedata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=0c9eb9575b544081b0d296436d8f60f8&query=18a4b61b268-layer-9%2CSMRS%2CMO023-037----. Situated on the summit of a low hill. This was described in 1968 as a circular grass-covered area (diam. 40.5m N-S; 38m E-W) defined by a large and overgrown earthen bank that had been removed SW-WNW, but there was no visible fosse (SMR file). The original entrance (Wth of base 1.7m) was at E. A farm lane skirted the external base of bank NNW-E and the monument was completely enclosed by field banks. It had been removed by 2000 (OSAP). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Monaghan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986).
