Located at the crest of the S-facing slope of a small N-S ridge that is on the summit of a NE-SW drumlin ridge. A NW-SE section of the Black Pig’s Dyke (MO021-011----) is c. 10m to the NE. This is a circular grass and reed-covered area (diam. 40.7m NW-SE; 39.5m NE-SW) defined by a scarp (H 1.2-1.5m) and hedge E-S-NW, with an outer fosse evident at NW (Wth of top 3m; Wth of base 2.5m; D 0.3m) but replaced by a drain elsewhere. The perimeter is formed by a NE-SW field bank NW-N, and by a low scarp N-E, on the side close to the linear earthwork. The original entrance is not identified. Located at the crest of the S-facing slope of a broad summit on a NE-SW drumlin ridge. This is an overgrown circular area (diam. 38.5m) defined by an overgrown earthen bank separated by a fosse (Wth c. 2-3m; D c. 0.9m) from an outer bank and an external fosse. There is a large gap through the inner (Wth of base 4m) and outer (Wth of base 3.6m) banks at NE, the latter being closed, but if there was a causeway it was cut by a drainage ditch.
