This is a subcircular grass-covered area (dims 42.5m NW-SE; 37m NE-SW) that slopes down to the SE defined by an earthen bank (at NW: Wth of base 5.6m; int. H 1.5m; ext. H 1.2m) and hedge, which is reduced to a scarp (at SE: Wth 3m; H 1.5m) E-S. There is no visible fosse, but there are entrances at NE (Wth of base 0.8m), SE (Wth of base 1.4m) and SSW (Wth of base c. 1m), all probably modern.
