- MO008-023: Earthwork, https://heritagedata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=0c9eb9575b544081b0d296436d8f60f8&query=18a4b61b268-layer-9%2CSMRS%2CMO008-023----. Situated on a broad N-S ridge. It is depicted as a subcircular wooded feature on the 1834 and 1907 editions of the OS 6-inch map. This is a raised grass-covered area (diam. c. 18m; H c. 1.5-2m) with slight traces of an external fosse or drain and an outer field bank and hedge (diam. 36.3m NW-SE), which is reduced to a scarp and hedge NE-SE and absent W-N. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Monaghan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986).
