Situated on top of a drumlin known as Cush Hill. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 41.3m N-S; 37.3m E-W) defined by a slight earthen bank (at N: Wth of base 4.7m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 1.8m) and hedge, with a slight outer fosse that has probably been re-cut (at N: Wth of base 2m; D 0.65m) N-E. The original entrance is not identified, although there are gaps at SW (Wth of base 1.7m) and WNW (Wth of base 1.9m). It was adapted as a tree-ring and there are deciduous and coniferous trees on the bank. Freestanding carved limestone Gothic-style graveyard memorial, erected c.1901. Comprising square-plan base surmounted by tapered square-plan Corinthian-style column with chamfered corners supporting ringed Celtic cross finial with ogee terminals, on square-plan tapered shaft over base with ogee-headed panels in pointed pediments. Acanthus leaves to top of column. Whole set upon square-plan plinth with rounded inverted shoulder to corners. Pointed pediment to front (east) elevation of base, surmounted by trefoil motif with ogee-headed panel over, containing star, Sacred Heart and cross motifs and inscription 'SACRED HEART OF JESUS HAVE MERCY'. Similar motif with crown to side and rear elevations. Inscribed panel to front of plinth base. Freestanding carved limestone graveyard memorial, erected c.1940, with inscription appended 1976, 1996 and 1998. Square-plan tapered base, surmounted by square-plan tapered shaft, set upon square-plan plinth and having cruciform finial over. Pointed pediment to base, surmounted by trefoil motif to each elevation, supported on corner round-plan engaged composite-style columns, some with acanthus leaf detail and some with fern curl detail, flanking trefoliated recessed panels. Inscriptions to north and west elevations.
