Located on a W-facing slope in an isolated place known locally as McGuinness’ Rocks. A small rectangular structure (dims c. 15m E-W; c. 10m N-S) with a return (dims c. 5m N-S; c. 5m E-W) at the W end of the N wall is depicted on the 1834 edition of the OS 6-inch map. Two-bay single-storey outbuilding to north of yard to front of house, with five-bay single-storey outbuilding attached by single-bay flat-roofed annex to west end of north elevation of this, and detached single-bay single-storey outbuilding to south-east corner of yard, all having pitched corrugated-iron roofs, whitewashed rubble stone walls, and square-headed openings with timber fittings. Detached two-bay single-storey outbuilding to north of yard, with detached single-bay single-storey outbuilding to north-west corner, detached two-bay two-storey outbuilding to west range of yard, all with pitched slate roofs having exposed rafter ends, whitewashed rubble stone walls, and square-headed openings with timber battened doors and shutters. Inscribed limestone date and name plaque reading 'Scoil Mhuire Leacht Fhinn Scoil Náisiúnta 1941'. Square-headed window openings with tooled stone sills, having remains of pivoting windows at clerestory level of classroom block. Square-headed door openings, that to front elevation having timber panelled door and sculpted masonry surround, those to east and west elevations having timber battened doors. Detached three-bay two-storey parochial house, built c.1850, having two-bay side elevations, flat-roofed porch to front (south) elevation, and single-storey extension to rear. Square-headed window openings with replacement uPVC windows, and painted sills. Porch has channelled pilasters to corners with roughcast render to frieze, and has plinths and shallow moulded capitals. Square-headed door opening to side of porch, with recent red-brick surround. Timber panelled door, cut limestone step. Set back from road in own grounds.
