It is an oval grass-covered area (dims 62m NE-SW; 52m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank (at S: Wth 5.2m; int. H 1m; ext. H 2.6m) E-SW, which is incorporated into an overgrown earthen field bank (at N: Wth 4.6m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1.7m) with an outer stone-facing elsewhere and forms the townland boundary with with Drumberagh SW-N. There is an outer fosse (Wth of top 5m; ext. D 0.8m) SE-WNW, with a slight outer bank (Wth 3m; int. H 0.55m; ext. H 1.1m) SW-W. The entrance (Wth of base 3.2m) and causeway (Wth of top 3.3m; H 0.7m) are at SSE. Located towards the SE tip though not the top of a NW-SE spur. This is a circular grass and scrub-covered area (diam. 38.4m WNW-ESE; 36.6m NNE-SSW) defined by two earth and stone banks with some bushes separated by a rounded fosse. The entrance through the inner (Wth of base 1.1m) and outer (Wth of base 2m) banks and a causeway (Wth of top 3.2m; H 0.9m) are at SE. An oval sunken area (dims c. 10m E-W) runs through the inner bank at WNW and may be the remains of a souterrain. The monument has become overgrown since 1967 (Bing 2013). Situated on a rise in a low-lying area between drumlins. A substantial grass-covered earthen bank (L 35m; Wth 1m at W to 6m; at E; max. H c. 1.5m) with some bushes runs E-W. Situated on a steep NE-facing slope and just SE of the Roman Catholic church of Lisdoonan. A fragment of a mill-wheel that was never completed is a D-shaped stone (max. dims 2.25m x 1.3m; T 0.2-0.25m) with an unfinished central perforation (diam. 0.4m) and an unfinished edge. It is set up on two boulders with a level upper surface (H 0.7-0.85m) that is inscribed with ‘Leac an Aifrinn’ and an expanding cross (H 0.26m; span 0.16m). This was done c. 1913 when it was set up here but its original location, thought to be the top of Dunaree (Ó Gallachair 1957, 115), is unlikely, although it may have been in that townland. Freestanding cast-iron bell stand, erected c.1920, to south of church, comprising four fluted round-plan cast-iron columns with relief acanthus ornamentation. Cast-iron bell. Elaborate bracket system with decorative crosses. Fabricated by M. Byrne, Dublin, with maker's marks.
