Located at the tip of a low N-S spur. An oval or D-shaped enclosure (ext. dims c. 42m N-S; c. 30m E-W) that is probably a slightly raised platform is visible on Google Earth (16/11/2008). It is slightly truncated by a N-S field bank on the E side, and it is clearly visible on a LiDAR image from the Open Topographical Viewer. It is also faintly visible on an OSI image (2005) and Aerial Premium (2013-18). The monument was first reported by Susan Curran from the LiDAR image, and it was also noted by Jean Charles Caillére. Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1870, with recent glazed timber porch to entrance, flanked by canted bay windows to end bays. Two-bay side elevations, slightly lower two-bay two-storey return to rear of east end with further two-bay two-storey addition slightly lower again, recent glazed timber porch to return, and with one-bay return to east end. Front porch is gabled to all elevations. Hipped natural slate roof with grey clayware ridge-tiles, red brick chimneystacks with stepped copings and terracotta pots, projecting timber rafters forming eaves course, and replacement rainwater goods. Walls of red brick laid in English garden wall bond. Square-headed window openings with two-over-two pane horned timber sliding sash windows and stone sills, one-over-one pane to bay windows, and with one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows to porches. Square-headed door opening with timber panelled door. Set within own grounds with recent single-storey garage to rear. Pedestrian gateway of cast-iron with fleur-de-lys finials, and railings of cast-iron with fleur-de-lys finials to main entrance to east. - House, 1910–1950, Regional interest, registry number 41303008, https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=MO®no=41303008. Detached four-bay single-storey corrugated-iron house, erected c.1930, having single-bay flat-roofed additions to west and south dating to 1960s-70s. Pitched corrugated-iron sheeted roof with brick chimneystack having plain over-sailing courses. Cast-iron half-round rainwater goods held on timber fasciaboard with decoratively carved timber bargeboards to slightly overhanging verges at gable ends. Corrugated-iron sheeted walls to main part of house and on east porch, latter having pitched steel roof. Walls of later felt-clad, flat-roofed additions are smooth cement rendered. Square-headed window openings with frames flush with outer wall surface, timber sills and two-over-two pane timber sliding sash frames with convex horns. Building partially surrounded by concrete path and lawn within small roadside site. - The Manse, manse, 1880–1885, Regional interest, registry number 41303009, https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=MO®no=41303009. Detached three-bay two-storey house with dormer attic, built 1883, having flat-roofed entrance porch, two-bay end elevations, gabled and lean-to two-storey additions to rear and single-storey flat-roofed addition extending to full width of rear elevation. Canted bay windows to front bay of each end elevation. Hipped slate roof, with fibre-cement ridge tiles, smooth rendered chimneystacks on hips, and ogee-profile cast-iron rainwater goods on moulded render cornice above heavy smooth rendered platband, cornice and platband confined to front elevation and bay windows. Segmental-headed felt-roofed timber dormers with glazed cheeks and side-hung timber casement windows to front roof slope. Painted smooth rendered walling to façade and side elevations with projecting smooth rendered string course and sill course to first floor level and moulded string course forming cornice over ground floor window heads with projecting moulded smooth rendered base. Rear walls are roughcast rendered walls with rendered plain brick cornice. Windows to façade and side elevations have moulded architraves and render keystones. Segmental-headed windows to first floor, square heads to ground floor and pair of semi-circular arched windows to front of porch. One-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows with ogee horns and painted stone sills. Round-headed doorway to side of porch approached by cut sandstone steps with moulded threads, to entrance porch with ceramic tiled floor in front of entrance to house proper. Late twentieth-century outbuildings to rear of house. Extensive lawned gardens fall away from house towards main entrance at south which has circular steel gate piers, wrought-iron railings on squared stone walls with square stone piers. Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1880, having porch to front (south-west) elevation, glazed sun-room to north-west, and full-height return to rear. Hipped slate roof with clay ridge tiles, cast-iron rainwater goods, smooth render eaves course, and red brick chimneystacks. Harl-rendered walls, render block-and-start quoins, plinth course, and platband at first floor sill level. Smooth render diamond-shaped panels flanking window to front of porch. Square-headed window openings, render sills and surrounds, having two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows. No surrounds to windows to rear returns, and with one-over-one pane timber sliding sash window to first floor to rear return. Square-headed door opening to south-east elevation of porch to front, having render surround, timber panelled door, glazed sidelights and rectangular over-light. Square-headed door opening to north-west elevation of rear return, with timber battened door.
