Situated on top of a drumlin. This was described in 1968 as a circular grass and rush-covered area (diam. 27.2m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.8-5.2m; it. H 0.5-0.6m; ext. H 1.7-1.8m), and an outer fosse that had been re-cut as a drain (Wth of top 3.2-3.6m; D 0.7-0.8m) NW-E-S-W. There were gaps at E, SSE, W and WNW but the original entrance is probably that (Wth of base 1.4m) with a causeway (Wth of top 4m; H 0.65m) at ESE. The monument had been removed by 1995 (OSAP). Square-headed door opening to east side of porch having painted lintel, alternating polychrome-brick surrounds and replacement timber panelled door. Square-headed door opening to west of return with render reveal and replacement glazed timber door. Square-headed door opening to return with render reveal and timber battened door.
