Situated on a slight rise toward the bottom of a S-facing slope, with a small canalised W-E stream c. 180m to the S. It is described as ‘Lisnashelitta’ on the 1907 edition of the OS 6-inch map. This is a circular grass and scrub-covered area (diam. 30.5m N-S; 29.5m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank separated by a fosse from an outer overgrown earthen bank, which has an external fosse surviving WSW-NE. There is an entrances at N which is probably modern but the original is likely to be that trough the inner (Wth of base 3.3m) and outer (Wth of base 3m) banks with a causeway (Wth of base 4.5m; H 0.45m) at SSE. Situated just off the E end of a WNW-ESE ridge. This is a raised, circular grass and scrub-covered area (diam. 31m NNE-SSW) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at WSW: Wth of base 2.7m; int. H 0.25m; ext. H 2.4m) and hedge, with an external fosse SW-N-E that has a field bank outside it WNW-N. This probably incorporates the remains of an outer bank which is visible W-WNW. The entrance (Wth of base 1.2m) and causeway (Wth of top 2.5m; H 0.35m) are at ESE. The interior is bisected by a N-S field bank. Rath (MO013-037----) is c. 190m to the SE. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 34.5m WNW-ESE; 31m NNE-SSW) defined by an overgrown earthen bank and an outer fosse (at N: Wth of top 2.1m; ext. D 0.9m) that has traces of an outer bank E-SE. The entrance (Wth of base 3.1m) and causeway (Wth of top 3.4m; H 0.6m) are at S. Rath (MO013-036----) is c. 190m to the NW. Simple timber bargeboards to gable of return Replacement red brick chimneystacks to gables of main block. Roughcast rendered walls, having smooth-rendered painted quoins to south end of front elevation. Square-headed window openings having two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows to front and rear elevations, with rendered and painted reveals, and painted stone sills. Segmental-headed window opening to ground floor of rear, having replacement uPVC window. Square-headed replacement uPVC door to front elevation. Two-storey byre to south, with single-storey former pig-sty addition to west, having pitched corrugated-iron roof, cast-iron rainwater goods,square-headed window openings with timber fittings, two-over-two pane timber sliding sash window to north and latticed window to south. Gauged-brick door openings, blocked to front (north), timber battened door approached by stone steps to first floor of east elevation. Cobbled drains to yard. Two-bay single-storey gable-fronted former dairy to west of house and byre, having pitched corrugated-iron roof. Roughcast-rendered walls, recessed entry gable forming porch, with square-headed openings, with timber battened door and two-over-two pane timber sliding sash window. Wrought-iron gate from pig-sty enclosure to dairy, mounted on roughcast walls of buildings. Wrought-iron pedestrian gate to north flanked by round-plan gate piers, with two stone steps descending to yard, one round-plan gate pier remaining of vehicular entrance to north-east. - Trinity Church (Kilmore), church/chapel, 1855–1865, Regional interest, registry number 41401325, https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=MO®no=41401325. Freestanding Early English Gothic Revival-style Church of Ireland church, dated 1860, consisting of three-bay nave, single-cell chancel (with lower ridge) to east, elongated two-stage tower to south of nave west bay, vestry to north of nave east bay. Closed, 1978. Pitched slate roofs, saddleback-roof to tower, inserted roof-lights to both pitches, stone verges, moulded cast-iron gutters on moulded sandstone corbels. Wrought-iron finial to tower. Random rubble limestone battered walling with angled cut sandstone buttressed with offsetting and battered bases. Lugged shield date plaque over entrance inscribed 'AD 1860'. First stage of tower tapers inward as base for second. Pointed-arch diagonally-glazed lancet windows with stained-glass margins, splayed and dressed flush sandstone surrounds and sills, paired to west gable and vestry east elevation (blank to vestry gable), three to east gable (centre heightened), those to second stage of tower have stone louvres to gables, elliptical apertures with louvers to cheeks. Pointed-arch vertically-sheeted timber door accessed by three stone steps. Shoulder-headed to vestry west elevation.
