Post row (L 380m; Wth 0.15m; D 1m) which consists of a single line of regularly split oak posts (av. diam. 0.1m) traversing the bog in a SE-NW direction at a narrow crossing point. The posts are inserted into the peat at intervals of 5-10m. Generally the tops of the posts are milled away. The lower ends are worked to pencil points with long narrow tool facets. Towards the W end of the row, several split oak wedges were used to secure the uprights. Local people recount that this structure originally consisted of parallel rows of posts.
