Square-headed window openings with patent rendered reveals, granite sills and replacement timber sliding sash windows, three-over-three pane to top floor and six-over-six pane to lower floors. Unaligned window openings to ground floor, and original wrought-iron balconettes to first floor. Round-headed door opening with projecting moulded surround and advanced painted stone Ionic doorcase. Replacement timber door flanked by engaged Ionic columns on plinth bases supporting fluted lintel cornice and replacement leaded fanlight over. Door opens onto granite platform and five granite steps with partially intact wrought-iron bootscraper. Platform and basement area enclosed by wrought-iron railings on moulded granite plinth wall with wrought-iron corner piers.
