H 0.3-0.75m) WNW-N-SSE which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.2-0.45m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. Spoil has been added to the monument since 1995. H 0.1-0.2m; ext. H 0.2-0.4m generally to 0.8m at WSW) ENE-W-NNE with no visible fosse. There is an entrance (Wth 8m) at NE. The Dublin to Ballina railway line (aligned WNW-ESE) is just to the N and two trenches have been dug immediately to the E (L c. 50m; Wth of top 6.2m; D to E 0.2m; D to W 4m) and W (L c. 50m; Wth of top 10m; D to E 1m; D to W 0.8m).
