On a slight NE-facing slope. Circular grass-covered are (int. diam. 2.8m WNW-ESE) defined by a broad earthen bank (Wth 5.2-5.4m; int. H c. 0.6m; ext. H 1.4-1.6m) with some scrub. There are slight traces of a circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 37m NNW-SSE; c. 35m ENE-WSW) defined by a slight scarp (H 0.2m). Rath (RO045-023----) is c. 100m to the SE. H c. 1m) and slight traces of an outer fosse (at WNW: Wth of top 3.8m; Wth of base 2.8m; D c. 0.1m), but the interior and perimeter are partly obscured by spoil. H 1.2-1.6m) separated by a fosse (Wth of top 5-6m; Wth of base 1.5-2.7m; ext. D 0.8-1.6m) from an outer bank (Wth 2-4m; ext. H 0.2-0.6m). The straight side, which is original, is at W and the entrance (Wth 1.9m) and causeway (Wth 4.7m) are at SE, but the outer bank had been incorporated into a field bank NE-S-SW (max. ext. diam. 71.6m WNW-ESE). H 1.7-2.1m) separated by a fosse (at N: Wth of top 6.5m; Wth of base 3.3m; ext. D 0.6m) which is most pronounced at S (Wth of top 8.3m; Wth of base 2m; ext. D 2.1m), from an outer bank (at N: Wth 3m; ext. H 0.65m) N-ESE which is replaced by a field wall SSE-WSW. There is an entrance (Wth 1.6m) through the inner bank and slight traces of a causeway at NE.
